Method for cleaning the car condenser
daily maintenance

- Dilute the detergent with water. The cleaning product for the condenser fins is alkaline and slightly corrosive to the condenser, so it is important to dilute it with water to reduce the concentration. Although a higher concentration may clean more thoroughly, the corrosive effect must be taken into account.
- Start the car and turn on the air conditioning to activate the electric fan. First, rinse with clean water, using the fan’s rotation to distribute the water throughout the entire condenser. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and completely. During this process, the electric fan may stop due to the condenser being too cold. If this happens, stop rinsing and allow the condenser to warm up so the fan can restart.
- Once the entire condenser is thoroughly wet, use a spray tool (such as a garden sprayer) to spray the prepared cleaning solution onto the surface of the condenser. The electric fan should still be running at this point; use its rotation to draw the solution in and distribute it to every corner. Once you’ve sprayed the entire surface, you’re done. At this point, turn off the air conditioner and the engine, and observe the surface of the condenser. After a few minutes, you’ll see the dirt on the surface slowly “float” to the top, accompanied by some small bubbles. Wait a few more minutes (we usually wait 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the concentration of the solution).
- Turn the air conditioning back on to make the fan spin. At this point, rinse the condenser thoroughly with plenty of clean water—the more thorough the rinse, the better. Do not cut corners on this step. Once you’ve rinsed sufficiently, you’ll find the condenser surface is spotless; we can usually clean the condenser until it looks as good as new.
The condenser should not be used for long periods without cleaning, otherwise grime will accumulate. Clean the condenser regularly by rinsing it with a hose, as a clean surface allows heat to dissipate more effectively. Regular cleaning of the condenser surface can significantly improve the cooling performance of the air conditioning system.
